  • Perform product demonstrations, application studies, and technical presentations
  • Prepare marketing strategies and programs to achieve success across assigned product line
  • Continuously monitor performance of product line through product life-cycle
  • Develop short- and long-term goals to achieve overall success of product line
  • Author procedures in support of product line
  • Lead and participate in project and product risk assessments, investigations, corrective actions and preventative actions
  • Direct cleanroom production schedule to satisfy customer orders
  • Collaborate with Sales team to generate new and grow current business
  • Technically qualify customer inquiries and support sales staff
  • Stay current on trends in the marketplace to ensure product’s competitive position
  • Advises sales team of any relevant product issues
  • Interface with customers, engineering, customer service, marketing, production and sales to determine direction of product
  • Assist with the generation of required sales collateral and service support material
  • Ensure organization is properly trained to sell and support products
  • Develop training programs for new and existing sales channels

Regional Sales Rep

I’m recruiting on a new regional sales role that’s opened up due to continued growth. My client specializes in the development, manufacturing and customization of precision measurement devices, automated liquid handling workstations, and sample management systems. This position is responsible for the development, performance, and maintenance of relationships with their representatives and distributors for their PH, Dissolved Oxygen, and Conductivity Sensors. Markets are Biopharma, Food and Beverage, Chemical Processing, etc.

The territory covers OR, WA, ID, and MT. Compensation at plan (uncapped) is in the 170k range.

Establish a working relationship with the reps and distributors assigned to the sensor product line.

Development of a business plan/sales strategy for the assigned territory that ensures attainment of sales targets.

Perform a yearly business review with all Reps and Distributors to identify sales targets for the coming year. Review the plan (supported with sales numbers) with the Rep/Distributor on a monthly basis and provide additional support where necessary to achieve the forecasted sales growth.

Initiates, identifies, and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new customers in territory.

Coordinate with the reps to create effective co-travel opportunities where multiple customers visits, demo follow-ups or lunch and learns can be accomplished in a single trip.

Assists team in the development and implementation of marketing plans and objectives, as needed.

Maintains accurate records and reports on feedback from the field to senior management.

Conducts regular coaching and counseling with to build motivation and technical expertise.

We are looking for someone with laboratory experience who would like the opportunity to use their technical and communication skills to transition into a technical sales role within the laboratory services space.

They are a leading manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation (rotary evaporators, chromatography, NIR) for the industrial and academic markets…..selling direct and through distribution. Excellent reputation in the industry for quality of product and support…..a dynamic sales team with growth opportunity. This position has responsibility for managing those relationships in the New England area. Travel isn’t expected to be more than 20%. First year compensation is 130k or higher at plan,but uncapped with car, bonus and all the usual benefits, etc.

Identifies new opportunities to expand business with prospects and existing customers Achieve and exceed monthly and annual quota. Create and maintain pipeline of new business opportunities.  Travel will be minimal and covers the No. CA region.

Compensation:  Expected first year in the 140-160k range, full benefits, co. car, expenses, etc..
