Thermal Analysis Sales

I’m recruiting on a new growth opportunity for instrumentation sales in both Dallas-Ft. Worth area and So. Ohio

This is with one of the world’s leading scientific instrumentation manufacturers. This would be for laboratory instrumentation that is more materials science and research oriented (thermal analysis) A 3.5 million dollar territory and they are by far and away the market leader.

We are looking for an experienced life science/technical sales rep with strong customer facing skills. Prior experience with thermal analysis is not necessary….rather the ability to manage a territory for capital equipment sales.

Microscopy Sales

(Light, stereo, flour. microscopes, Confocal microscopes, Scanning electron microscopes) I thought your background might be of potential interest to my client. We are looking for an experienced researcher….someone with a background using microscopy or imaging systems……..someone who would like to transition from the lab or research into technical sales. This position, which covers key accounts in the Michigan area (Univ. of MI, MSU, Notre Dame) is one of the top producing territories in the country with minimal travel. The focus is on light and confocal microscopes for academic and research accounts. At plan compensation should range from 115-125k first year plus co. car, all expenses, great benefits with top reps earning in the 200k range.

Field Applications Scientist

This position….a Field Applications Scientist, is responsible for supporting sales in the cannabis testing, pharma. industry, and academic research through technical discussions with customers and onsite demonstrations of product solutions. Products include flash or prep chromatography, lab and production scale rotary evaporators, freeze drying, melting point, etc.

The Field Application Scientist works in close collaboration with the local account managers to engage with detailed, technical discussions focused around the customer’s application, and demonstrate product solutions that best satisfy the customer’s challenges. You will be expected to travel throughout the territory and on occasion, beyond, to visit customers for product demonstrations, instrument installations, light PM and service, customer training and support and deliver seminars at scientific conferences.

Minimum requirement is a BS in a relevant field, such as Chemistry, Biochem, etc. and proven experience in a laboratory setting using chromatography, ideally with some background in cannabis testing or biopharma..

This is a fairly heavy travel role, one based in the Southeast (NC, SC, GA, FL) and the other based in Colorado  (covers the plains state

Regional Sales Rep

I’m recruiting on a new regional sales role that’s opened up due to continued growth. My client specializes in the development, manufacturing and customization of precision measurement devices, automated liquid handling workstations, and sample management systems. This position is responsible for the development, performance, and maintenance of relationships with their representatives and distributors for their PH, Dissolved Oxygen, and Conductivity Sensors. Markets are Biopharma, Food and Beverage, Chemical Processing, etc.

The territory covers OR, WA, ID, and MT. Compensation at plan (uncapped) is in the 170k range.

Establish a working relationship with the reps and distributors assigned to the sensor product line.

Development of a business plan/sales strategy for the assigned territory that ensures attainment of sales targets.

Perform a yearly business review with all Reps and Distributors to identify sales targets for the coming year. Review the plan (supported with sales numbers) with the Rep/Distributor on a monthly basis and provide additional support where necessary to achieve the forecasted sales growth.

Initiates, identifies, and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new customers in territory.

Coordinate with the reps to create effective co-travel opportunities where multiple customers visits, demo follow-ups or lunch and learns can be accomplished in a single trip.

Assists team in the development and implementation of marketing plans and objectives, as needed.

Maintains accurate records and reports on feedback from the field to senior management.

Conducts regular coaching and counseling with to build motivation and technical expertise.

Account Executive – Laboratory Services

We are looking for someone with laboratory experience who would like the opportunity to use their technical and communication skills to transition into a technical sales role within the laboratory services space.

Environmental: analytical testing and sampling (this position tends to focus on water, wastewater, environmental…..but also some food, hemp)
Life Sciences GMP laboratory: testing for pharmaceutical, medical and drug-devices
Scientific Professional Services (SPS): staffing and instrumentation services

Sales Representative – Instrumentation

They are a leading manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation (rotary evaporators, chromatography, NIR) for the industrial and academic markets…..selling direct and through distribution. Excellent reputation in the industry for quality of product and support…..a dynamic sales team with growth opportunity. This position has responsibility for managing those relationships in the New England area. Travel isn’t expected to be more than 20%. First year compensation is 130k or higher at plan,but uncapped with car, bonus and all the usual benefits, etc.
