Regional Sales Rep

I’m recruiting on a new regional sales role that’s opened up due to continued growth. My client specializes in the development, manufacturing and customization of precision measurement devices, automated liquid handling workstations, and sample management systems. This position is responsible for the development, performance, and maintenance of relationships with their representatives and distributors for their PH, Dissolved Oxygen, and Conductivity Sensors. Markets are Biopharma, Food and Beverage, Chemical Processing, etc.

The territory covers OR, WA, ID, and MT. Compensation at plan (uncapped) is in the 170k range.

Establish a working relationship with the reps and distributors assigned to the sensor product line.

Development of a business plan/sales strategy for the assigned territory that ensures attainment of sales targets.

Perform a yearly business review with all Reps and Distributors to identify sales targets for the coming year. Review the plan (supported with sales numbers) with the Rep/Distributor on a monthly basis and provide additional support where necessary to achieve the forecasted sales growth.

Initiates, identifies, and coordinates the development of action plans to penetrate new customers in territory.

Coordinate with the reps to create effective co-travel opportunities where multiple customers visits, demo follow-ups or lunch and learns can be accomplished in a single trip.

Assists team in the development and implementation of marketing plans and objectives, as needed.

Maintains accurate records and reports on feedback from the field to senior management.

Conducts regular coaching and counseling with to build motivation and technical expertise.

Account Executive – Laboratory Services

We are looking for someone with laboratory experience  who would like the opportunity to use their technical and communication skills to transition into a technical sales role.  This would be based in Upstate, NY and covers Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo.

Environmental: analytical testing and sampling (this position tends to focus on water, wastewater, environmental…..but also some food, hemp)

Scientific Professional Services (SPS): staffing and instrumentation services

Sales Representative – Instrumentation

They are a leading manufacturer of laboratory instrumentation (rotary evaporators, chromatography, NIR) for the industrial and academic markets…..selling direct and through distribution. Excellent reputation in the industry for quality of product and support…..a dynamic sales team with growth opportunity. This position has responsibility for managing those relationships in the New England area. Travel isn’t expected to be more than 20%. First year compensation is 130k or higher at plan,but uncapped with car, bonus and all the usual benefits, etc.

Microscopy Sales Rep

Direct sales of a broad line of microscopy and imaging equipment to life science research accounts…largely academic.   Must have a technical background in the life sciences with hands-on experience in light microscopy, confocal, or live cell imaging.   These are all local territories with minimal travel.  Previous sales experience is not necessary, rather the desire to transition into technical sales.  First year compensation in the 100k+ range. 

Analytical Instrumentation Sales Rep

We are actively recruiting for a Technical Sales Rep for a client of ours that is a  leading manufacturer of analytical instrumentation- HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, FTIR, AA, ICP, Thermal, etc. We are seeking a highly motivated  Sales Rep who can continue to grow the company’s business. The successful candidate will be someone who can open doors, solve problems and develop trust and an ongoing business relationship with existing customers and new prospects. Works to understand customers business, purchasing departments, products purchased, key decision makers. Identifies new opportunities to expand business with prospects and existing customers Achieve and exceed monthly and annual quota. Create and maintain pipeline of new business opportunities.  Travel will be minimal and covers the No. CA region.

Compensation:  Expected first year in the 140-160k range, full benefits, co. car, expenses, etc..

Field Service Engineer

The FSE will be responsible for routine maintenance, repair, installations and service of rheology and thermal analysis instrumentation throughout the South Central region  (TX, OK, LA), and as is with most service roles will support adjacent areas.   Must have Prior FSE experience with scientific instrumentation.  Travel is expected to be 50%.

Compensation:  Base 75-85k plus 15% bonus.

Field Service Engineer

I’m recruiting for a Field Service Engineer with one of the world’s leading microscopy manufacturers. (light microscopes, confocal, SEM, FIB’s, etc.) We are looking for an experienced FSE…..someone with a background or experience with complex automated electromechanical systems. Some of the other skill sets we’re looking for are: Advanced understanding and ability to troubleshoot problems in software, electronics, optics and electron optics, high voltage, high vacuum, mechanical, and electro mechanical systems. Ability to read and understand electrical or mechanical engineering documentation and schematics. Solid communication skills, able to converse readily in English, both verbally and in writing.
