The first, and perhaps most important step, is to gain a thorough understanding of specifically what the client wants. This includes:
- A detailed job description to include specific responsibilities, requirements, travel and performance expectations.
- What efforts have been made to date to fill the opening, including internal candidates
- Education requirements and preferences
- Experience requirements – specific products, markets, and performance metrics
- Knock out factors
- Requirements endemic to the specific manager or company culture
- Detailed compensation plans and benefits
- Outline of the interview process, decision makers, and timeline.
Once the position and requirements are clearly defined. Analytics will use its 30+ years of industry experience to review all potential sources of qualified candidates. This includes networking within an extensive database of candidates we have an established relationship with, actively recruiting from targeted sources based on your requirements, engaging partners within our specialty for their referrals, and where necessary, providing a presence on social media and various career sites.
EXECUTION AND DELIVERY
Potential candidates are contacted directly and presented the opportunity to gauge their interest. Your position is presented in a straightforward and professional manner with realistic expectations. Candidates are not oversold on the opportunity. Those that express interest are qualified further to ensure they meet the requirements of the hiring manager. Once satisfied that the candidate meets the necessary requirements, they are presented for review and follow up. Your feedback at this point is important, as it confirms that we are providing exactly what you require.
Analytics takes an active role throughout the entire interview process to ensure that metrics have been met and everyone’s time and effort has been maximized. We provide valuable feedback at each step of the interview process. This feedback is critical for both the client and the candidate. It allows for any necessary ‘course corrections’ and helps move the process to a successful conclusion.
Once you’ve identified a candidate to offer, Analytics will conduct background and reference checks at your request. Our network within the industry allows us to dig deeper than most references that are provided. We will provide information on compensation requirements and supporting data relative to experience, industry and location. Once accepted, Analytics will provide counsel regarding resignation and counter offers. At this point you have invested considerable time and effort to identify the right candidate. We help that transition from offer to acceptance to start date.
